In order to start training, you need to submit an application form. After processing the email, you will receive instructions with a list of procedures to be followed to the specified email address. After completing the documents required, you will be sent an invitation for a period not exceeding 90 days. Please note that your passport must not expire earlier than 18 months before your intended departure to the Russian Federation.
To enter the Russian Federation for training, you need a passport with a student visa.
Visa is not required: for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ukraine, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ukraine can use internal (national) passports.
Students from other countries, including the CIS countries, must obtain a foreign passport beforehand.
Where to apply for a visa?
A Russian visa must be issued at the Russian Consulate in your country. Detailed information is available on the website of the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
On board an international aircraft, in the airport building and at passport control points you will receive an immigration card form that must be filled out. Next, in the customs control zone you will be given an immigration card with a stamp of arrival in the Russian Federation, where the purpose of the visit should be marked — " for study only".
Upon arrival, all applicants are sent to the office of the Admission Committee for registration of the referral to a student hostel. Be sure to inform the Admission office staff when and at what time you are arriving, so that you are directed to the correct address for a referral.
After receiving the referral, you go to the hostel. You need to register at your place of actual residence.
Within 7 days, all foreign citizens must submit a notification of immigration registration to the passport and visa department of the university. To do this, you must have: a passport with a visa and an immigration card.
Keep your immigration card for the entire duration of your stay in the Russian Federation!
You can pay for the received contract at the University cash desk (Санкт-Петербург, Филологический пер., дом 3, литера П) or remotely via a link sent by the Admission Committee.
